Airbnb has really revolutionized the travel industry since exploding into the industry back in 2008. For many people (yours truly included!), the concept of staying in someone else’s home took some getting used to. Isn’t that be weird? What if they’re a con man and nothing in the ad is accurate? What if the host is a crazy axe murderer? All completely normal questions to ask yourself back then.

But that is all a thing of the past, and today, Airbnb is a huge success! From a traveler’s perspective, the home share market provides a lot of pros over traditional hotels, including (but not limited to):
– You typically get a larger space (like a whole apartment vs. single, cramped hotel room)
– Often for the same cost or even less (especially if you need space for a larger family/group)
– Can take advantage of additional money saving amenities (like included parking, a kitchen for cooking meals, backyard), etc.

So if you’re making a trip to Fort Collins, and want to see what the home share market is all about, below are some of my favorites in the city.
