An important part of any trip is determining where to stay! For many travelers, the home share market (through companies like Airbnb) has provided a more convenient, and affordable way to travel. So if you’re planning a trip to Colorado, and want to know where to find the best Airbnbs in Denver…keep reading!

Since I’m still impatiently waiting to win the lottery, this post contains affiliate links. If you click the link and complete a purchase, I may be paid a commission (at no extra cost to you).

Airbnbs in Denver often come with warm, modern kitchens like pictured with wood cabinetry and a large island with seating

Airbnb has revolutionized the travel industry since they burst onto the scene in 2008. For some (including myself!), the concept took some time to warm up to. Staying in someone else’s home? Won’t that be weird? What if they’re an axe murderer? All totally normal questions to consider back then.

Fast forward to today, and Airbnb is a huge success! The home share market provides travelers with a lot of pros over staying at traditional hotels, including:
– Typically a larger space (whole apartment vs. single hotel room)
– The same cost or less (especially when getting space for a larger group)
– Additional money saving amenities (included parking, kitchen for cooking meals), etc.

So if you’re making a trip to Denver, and want to give Airbnbs in Denver a try, below are some of my favorites in the city.

For most visitors to Denver, staying in the “Downtown core” of the city will be your best bet. Neighborhoods like the Central Business District, Lower Downtown (LoDo), Five Points, Capitol Hill, the Highlands, and more will keep you in the midst of the city. Booking an Airbnb in or near Downtown provides many amenities within easy walking distance, or at most short car ride away.

Denver Colorado Airbnb – Artisan Loft in Historic Five Points with Rustic Red Bricks

Current Rating: 4.99* (294 reviews)
Sleeps: up to 4 guests
Neighborhood: Five Points
Notable Feature: Private outdoor garden area

This two bedroom, one bathroom private guesthouse is located in the historic and eclectic Five Points neighborhood. This is a great neighborhood with pockets of quiet, residential streets co-mingling happily with blocks of bustling businesses as well. Making it a perfect place for those looking to be close to it all, while still enjoying a quiet retreat now and then.

From a design perspective, this industrial loft-style Airbnb is beautifully decorated, with lots of charm sprinkled throughout. Too often comfort plays second fiddle to good design, but that is certainly not the case here! You and your guests will love morning coffee (or evening drinks!) in the private garden, whipping up a delish dish in the fully stocked kitchen, and being able to easily walk to many downtown Denver attractions.

Denver CO Airbnb – Cozy & Elegant Art District Remodel

This two bedroom, one bath duplex in the Santa Fe Art District is a perfect home base for those looking to be close to the action, but not in the concrete jungle of downtown. This eclectic neighborhood is known for having tons of art galleries (DUH), local boutiques and home grown restaurants. And if you’re lucky enough to visit during the first Friday of each month, you can experience the First Friday Art Walks in the district…a must!

And while location is paramount, the aesthetics of the place are equally as important! Luckily, everything is top notch here. The space is modern, comfortable and well-appointed. You even have access to a private fenced in backyard where you can rest and recharge under the Colorado sky.

Romantic Airbnb Denver – Staycation/Special Occasion Larimer Lux Union Station

Current Rating: 4.96* (28 reviews)
Sleeps: up to 6 guests
Neighborhood: LoDo
Notable Feature: The complex has an indoor pool, hot tub, BBQ/lounge deck, gym, and basketball/tennis courts – all accessible by guests!

This two bedroom, one bathroom condo is located smack dab in the middle of Denver’s Lower Downtown (LoDo) neighborhood. This means incredible views of the city – especially the historic clocktower on Denver’s 16th street mall! From here, guests will be able to easily get by without a car, if they so choose, and walk to many Denver attractions, bars, and restaurants. However, if you will have a car, you’re in luck! Two garage parking spaces are included with this unit and available for use. One included parking space is hard enough to find, but two?? Basically unheard of, until now!

Speaking of the unit – have you ever seen a more romantic Airbnb, Denver? The decor is soft and feminine, with thoughtful touches of romantic chandelier lighting, plush pillows, and fur accents throughout. And the host provides top-notch service to guests by prearranging for special touches like champagne, rose petals, and more. Add in first class amenities, and it’s clear that this is a great option for those looking for a romantic getaway in the city.

Airbnb Denver Colorado – Two-Story Open Condo with GREAT Outdoor Rooftop!

Current Rating: 4.90* (136 reviews)
Sleeps: up to 6 guests
Neighborhood: Capitol Hill
Notable Feature: Incredible (and HUGE) outdoor rooftop deck

Normally I would start off by describing the location, but let’s get right to the elephant in the room. Do you SEE that incredible (and private) outdoor rooftop deck?! I mean, swoon. I can already picture you and your guests enjoying an incredible BBQ or evening cocktails here. Heck, it’s so big you could have morning yoga on the deck (if that’s your thing).

And the rest of this two bedroom, two bathroom Capitol Hill townhome is incredible as well! This Airbnb is bright, comfortable, and has plenty of space for everyone. The master suite takes up the entire second floor and features a shower room with multiple shower heads. Talk about bathing in luxury!

Location-wise, Capitol Hill is a hip, downtown adjacent neighborhood full of incredible boutiques, restaurants, nightlife and more. Luxury Airbnb Downtown Denver – ★★★★★Luxury Loft ❤️of Downtown – FLEX Cancelation

Current Rating: 4.90* (58 reviews)
Sleeps: up to 4 guests
Neighborhood: Ballpark
Notable Feature: Includes use of garage parking space

Location, location, location! Booking a stay at this two bedroom, two bathroom loft will put you within spitting distance (or a one block walk) of Coors Field, where the Colorado Rockies baseball team plays. Staying in this area also means easy access to tons of other popular Denver attractions like Union Station, RiNo, the 16th street mall, and more!

The unit features dark cabinetry, exposed brick, and wood floors, but ample windows fills the space with natural light. You even have access to a private outdoor patio with incredible views of the stadium, and Downtown Denver as a whole. Airbnb Denver Colorado – ♛ King RiNo ♛ Private Yard

Current Rating: 4.89* (337 reviews)
Sleeps: up to 3 guests
Neighborhood: RiNo
Notable Feature: Private, fenced in backyard patio

This one bedroom, one bathroom brick row house is located in the funky and hip neighborhood of the River North (RiNo) Arts District. The area is well-known for art (DUH) with tons of galleries and street art installations to enjoy. But don’t forget to partake in another type of “art” this area is known for – the art of craft beer! Beer lovers will rejoice staying here with over 13 craft breweries within walking distance.

Inside the unit, exposed brick lends some historic charm in an otherwise modernly appointed Airbnb. The unit is spacious enough that you won’t feel on top of one another, especially with the addition of the private backyard patio. The perfect place to unwind after long days of exploring and drinking your way through RiNo.

For some the idea of staying in the concrete jungle of Downtown is just not appealing…and that’s totally fine as well! Denver is a very geographically spread out city, and there is a ton to discover and explore outside of the Downtown core as well. Neighborhoods like Cherry Creek (for incredible shopping), Washington Park, Platt Park, and more will get you out of the hustle and bustle, and a little more peace and quiet.

420 Friendly Airbnb Denver – Chill at a Totally Private Carriage House W Bamboo Orb Chair

Current Rating: 4.99* (107 reviews)
Sleeps: up to 3 guests
Neighborhood: Platt Park
Notable Feature: 420 friendly private patio and dogs also welcome!

This one bedroom, one bathroom guest house feels more like a private oasis in the historic Platt Park neighborhood. Once its own city, Platt Park has maintained some of that historic charm, including old trolley tracks that used to transport people to and from the city. And today, Old South Pearl Street still acts as the main drag. It feels more like the main street of a small town, but it’s chock full of incredible Denver-grown restaurants, signature craft breweries, quaint coffee shops, boutiques, and even a large Farmer’s Market.

But the real show-stopper is this bohemian inspired home away from home! It may be on the cozy side, but no detail was spared in ensuring your comfort. Guests enjoy their own private entrance, as well as an incredibly decorated private patio (which is 420 friendly for those wishing to partake!). Quirky design elements inside make the place feel more like a home, and the perfect place to unwind during your stay.

Denver Colorado Airbnb – Centrally Located Cherry Creek Apt. *Private Deck*

Current Rating: 4.94* (109 reviews)
Sleeps: up to 3 guests
Neighborhood: Cherry Creek
Notable Feature: Huge private sky deck

Those who wish to be close to the best shopping Denver has to offer will really appreciate this one bedroom, one bathroom Airbnb in Cherry Creek. The Cherry Creek neighborhood actually houses two distinct shopping districts. The Cherry Creek Shopping Center is Denver’s premier luxury shopping mall. And Cherry Creek North houses 16 blocks of the city’s largest collection of local boutiques, shops and dining.

And when you’re exhausted from all that shopping, head back to this incredible apartment for some R&R. Take a break from dining out in Cherry Creek and whip up a meal in the well-equipped kitchen. Or take in the fire (and a glass of wine) on the absolutely incredible, private rooftop deck.
